Hi, I'm Angela
Almost two decades ago I found myself in an awful mess. I was depressed, full of anxiety and felt hopeless. I had a migraine for almost three months, had constant body aches, panic attacks and had a hard time finding the desire to leave my bed. I had gone to several doctors for help only to be left with the diagnosis of anxiety. The diagnosis felt hopeless in and of itself. I was at rock bottom and realized that my only hope was in Jesus. I cried out to Him, telling Him that I had tried everything else and that He was all I had left. He must have been waiting for me to finally realize that truth because it was at that point that my healing began.
I experienced Jesus and His healing. I know that He is real and I will live the rest of my life sharing Him with people. He is our hope for every problem, every weakness, every shortfall.
During that time in my life, I had never felt so alone. We need each other. We need to journey together. That’s precisely why I’m here!
Our Mission
The mission of Angela Ackley Ministries is to love and guide people on their faith journey as we partner with Jesus. We want to put our arms around you and be the friend that always speaks the truth in love. We want to teach you and mentor you and remind you that you are not alone!
Meet Angela's family
I live in Madison, Wisconsin with my husband of 23 years and my three (not so little anymore) sons. Two of my boys are college-age and our youngest is still in high school. My husband is an Elementary School Principal and we have lived in the same house all of our married life. We love our family vacation home in the north woods of Wisconsin and have spent our summers there for the past 20 years. Living life with all boys (including our dog) has been great, but definitely calls for lots of girl time with my besties!
Our Theological Beliefs
We believe that Jesus Christ is "the way, the truth, and the life." (John 14:6)
We believe that "salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to man by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)
We believe "if we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us." (1 John 1:8)
We believe "if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9)
We believe that "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners" and can fully redeem and powerfully use even those who consider they have been "the worst." (1 Timothy 1:15)
We believe God "is patient, not wanting any to perish but everyone to come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9)
We believe that all scripture is "God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness." (2 Timothy 3:16)
We believe that every believer in Christ is the "temple of the Holy Spirit." (1 Corinthians 6:19)
We believe we have been "baptized by one Spirit into one body" (1 Corinthians 12:13) and recognize the value and equality of all members of the body of Christ. We are "all one in Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3:28)
We actively support the unity of all believers eclipsing all denominational, economic, or ethnic diversities.
We believe we have "different kinds of gifts but the same Spirit." (1 Corinthians 12:4)
We believe that "our citizenship is in heaven and we eagerly await a Savior from there the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables Him to bring everything under His control, will transform our lowly bodies so they will be like His glorious body. (Philippians 3:21) "And so shall we forever be with the Lord." (1 Thessalonians 4:17) Until then, we believe we are to strive to "live holy and Godly lives as we look forward to the day of God." (2 Peter 3:11,12)
